Wondered why the o/s/f bumper was hanging in the wind,on more inspection I found the bumper bolt was connected to nothing ! the bracket had rotted away, top and bottom. Is this a replacement single part ?,but looks to me its a big panel that's welded in then this bracket is bolted on tho I see no visible bolts at the top of this bracket ! Had a look at coastal homes and brackets on there do not resemble the bracket that I have now ripped off.I have an 1989 Talbot Express 1300p swift kontiki 2.0,any ideas peeps, thanks.

Look on the Parts And Accessory part of the forum, maybe there is something on there that will point you in the right direction

Thanks for the heads up,looked thru the brackets and nothing that resembles mine ! Heres a bit more info on the fixing,i have the large bumper,on the offside where the bumper raps around the wheel arch there is a screw bolt that goes through the dimple line in the bumper which attaches itself to a metal angled bracket that hangs down, about 6 inches before the wheel and moreless directly below the battery tray,it is a factory fit not mickey mouse home made job,the nearside does not have this fixture,no bolt.Any clues now, maybe its not classed as a bracket but a fixture off some kind? thanks for the help derbypub.

Gibbo. Are you talking about the actual bumper behind the facia or the fixing for the facia

Hey Paul after you saying it was the facia I watched a vid on you tube on a chap fitting a splitter/facia to the bumper and came to the conclusion that this is not a facia factory fitting, but somebody had very professionaly fitted the facia to this part of a chassis bracket with a long bolt !so went entirely down the wrong root ! but the question still stands, what is this lump of chassis called ? is it replaceable ?
