It's probably only the regulator that's burned out. Find a Auto electrical repair shop near you and take it in. It's a lot cheaper than buying a new one.

Failing that they are available on ebay etc. Just google Peugeot J5 petrol alternator ;)

Good luck

Dave

As Steve says each local authority has different rules some legally enforceable and some not. The problem is finding out which ones are covered by by-laws and which have just been put up as 'frighteners'. Some areas of the UK are a lot more motorhome friendly than others. A lot of the South West, So...

Hi Gerry B and welcome to the forum. The gearbox on these vans is the weak link and the synchros are the worsat bit! I changed mine for a second hand box a few months ago and a trip to Scotland has resulted in all synchros are now defunct except 5th gear! :bang: Ideally you need to get it fixed and ...

The red silicone was recommended by Klarius and had to be 'doctored' with a Stanley knife. Also available from ECP. Will report back next spring. I read also that CV g...

Great feedback, thanks. Only concern is parts becoming more difficult. Wonder how many on the road now? Hi and welcome. As far as Talisman conversions go I have no idea but as far as the base vehicle and campervans / motorhomes in general are concerned there are probably more of these vans that are...
